Help us make riding safer in Aotearoa New Zealand
NZEAN is collecting real-life data on horse-related road incidents across New Zealand.
Why? Because without evidence, our voices are too easily dismissed. We know riders are facing increasing risks on our roads - but to push for real change in road rules, safety measures, and recognition as vulnerable road users, we need clear, nationwide data to back it up.
Every near miss, accident, or unsafe interaction matters.
Your experience helps build the bigger picture and strengthens our ability to advocate for safer conditions for all equestrians.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share it with others in the equestrian community. Together, we can be heard.
