Wakatipu Equestrian Advocacy Group (WEAG)

Wakatipu EAG was set up by some dedicated women under the umbrella of NZEAN to preserve horse riding access in an area thats developing with scary speed and horses as a sport ,are being forgotten.
We live in some of the most spectacular landscape in NZ and one of the best ways to enjoy it, is on horse back. The whole history of the district is horse, as they were the only mode of transport in that era. The original tracks made by horses and stock now seem to be vehicle and bike only, and we have to be vocal to retain horse riding.
